Summit Entertainment has confirmed to ET that Bill Condon, the Academy Award-winning writer and director of such films as ‘Dreamgirls,’ ‘Gods and Monsters’ and ‘Kinsey,’ will take the reins of ‘Breaking Dawn,’ the final chapter of author Stephenie Meyer‘s phenomenal vampires vs. werewolves/love-triangle saga. Of course, Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner will return for the finale.
“I’m very excited to get the chance to bring the climax of this saga to life on-screen,” says Condon. “As fans of the series know, this is a one-of-a-kind book — and we’re hoping to create an equally unique cinematic experience.”
