The Giorgio Armani Prive Fashion Show took place today in Paris as part of Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week Fall/Winter 2010-2011. Some of the famous fashionistas that came out in support of Armani include Claire Danes, Hugh Dancy, Roxane Mesquida and, of course, the biggest fan, Roberta Armani, Giorgio’s niece.

The show was held at Espace Vendome in Paris. Armani’s show is just one of many that will be showing this week in Paris. So far, we have also seen Haute Couture lines from Dior, and have other designers such as Chanel, Jean Paul Gaultier and Valentino to look forward to.

At 75 years old, Giorgio is most definitely a seasoned veteran of fashion week. He is well-known as one of the most famous Italian designers, and respected for his initiative for eating disorder awareness for fashion models.

Twilight screenwriter says next one will be “way hot”

Screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg, who has penned all three Twilight movies to date, says the last two movies in the series will be “sexier” than the previous ones. She spoke about Edward Cullen and Bella Swan’s sex scene, calling it “way hot,” although still suitable for children to watch. “Breaking Dawn will be sexier,” Melissa promises. She told E! Online. “I think we can get awfully sexy with a PG-13, I’m not worried about the rating. I know a lot of fans are like, ‘We have to go R to do it justice,’ but I don’t think so. I think it’s going to be pretty hot. Way hot!”

Meanwhile, Robert Pattinson, Taylor Lautner and Kristen Stewart have signed deals that will see them earning $25 million plus 7.5 percent profit for the final two films in the series. If the Breaking Dawn films do as well as New Moon, which made $710 million worldwide, the three actors could make an additional $16 million each.

Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson’s steamy makeout session in New Moon won top place in the “Best Kiss” category at the MTV Awards, and while most women would die for even a peck on the cheek from Edward Cullen, the sensual lip lock doesn’t take first place in Kristen’s book.

Who, then, does K-Stew rate as best kisser above her on and off screen lover?!  Dakota Fanning, 16. That’s right. The two ladies kissed in their indie film “The Runaways,”  in which they played rockers Joan Jett and Cherie Currie and though the scene wasn’t romantic from either actress’ perspective, K-Stew told Metro New York newspaper that she was rooting for the two of them to win! “I would’ve been really proud if me and Dakota had won,” she said.  She even had the acceptance speech planned if Dakota had been there: “I would’ve done the whole build-up that me and Rob did last year, and then just stopped and said, “‘This just doesn’t feel right.  Dakota, where are you? That would have been so funny.”

Apparently she has been asked this question A LOT.

Hollywood Beckons for SA Rapper

In what clearly looks like a stroke of genius, Fight Club filmmaker David Fincher has shed some light on a possibility that tiny Yo-Landi Vi$$er of the South African rave and rhyme crew Die Antwoord could be cast in his new movie.

The director, whose previous work The Curious Case of Benjamin Button was nominated for numerous Oscars, apparently envisioned the t*tle character from his upcoming The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo after the gangsta-trash-punk stylings of Miss Vi$$er. The character in question is Lisbeth Salander, an Asperger’s ridden hacker girl who transforms her way into a private detective.

Although, it’s unclear if Fincher had the character modeled after Vi$$er or if he wanted her to actually play the part, she joins the ranks of previous hopefuls including Carey Mulligan and Kristen Stewart of Twilight fame. In addition to Fincher, other filmmakers have expressed interest in the bleached appearance and apparent acting skills of the young star.

Vi$$er confirmed that she had been approached for the film role, speaking from Poland, where Die Antwoord was currently on tour.

She said she wasn’t interested, however, as Die Antwoord was “her life”.  She said she didn’t know the book “but a few people have told me of the main character and said that I remind them of her.”

Meanwhile, Die Antwoord have a film project of their own in the works. The Answer is being described as “District 9, but with more rave and more rap.”

Which cast member was seen leaving the premiere of Eclipse before the movie even ended?

[can't believe I'm making a post mentioning Twilight... all in the name of Glee!]

 

 
Glee’s Heather Morris better have a good excuse for walking out of the theater during the Los Angeles premiere of Eclipse!

The actress, who plays cheerleader Brittany on the hit Fox show, recently told us why she rushed out of the Twilight blockbuster, and it’s not because she’s not a fan…

“The movie was good!” Morris explained to us at the Inaugural Thirst Project Gala in Los Angeles Tuesday. “It sucked because it went late and I had to go to the airport to pick up my friend so I had to leave like halfway through the movie. I felt so rude!”

Despite her premature departure, Morris is an avid fan of the Twilight Saga. “I love the books,” she said. “I love Stephenie Meyer. And I like Kristen Stewart a lot.”

As for her favorite Eclipse hottie, the Glee star admitted, “I was Team Edward in all the books, but I think in the movies I’m Team Lautner.” Wonder if Taylor’s lack of clothing has anything to do with that?

Later this month, Morris, along with show creator Ryan Murphy and a handful of other castmembers, will visit San Diego’s Comic-Con for a panel discussion. Will they also treat fans to a special performance?

“Not that I know of,” admitted Morris. “Well, actually, the day before they’ll text me and they’ll be like, ‘You’re going to perform tomorrow so just get ready!’ ”

We loved Eclipse. We thought it was the best Twilight film so far.

But we may be alone.

Below, we’ve posted excerpts from a number of movie critics around the country. None of them lambasted the flick, but few were overly enthusiastic about, either. If you’ve seen Eclipse, we’d ‘d love to hear your thoughts on it. Comment away now…

I can’t pretend that the third episode instilled a fever in my blood, but it didn’t leave me cold. For the first time in the series I felt I’d seen a real movie. – The Wall Street Journal

As long as these movies remain about three petulant whiners staring at each other to little effect, no rousing action sequences are going to save them from their torpor. – Las Vegas Weekly

Saying that the third film in a series with two pretty weak prior entries is the best of the bunch may be faint praise, but that happens to be the case with Eclipse. – IGN

Director David Slade keeps the action brisk and the time-killing attractive … All of which should be like a freshly opened vein for fans. – NPR

Kristen Stewart may be one of the most promising actresses of her generation or she may be trapped in amber forever as the drippy but inexplicably ultra-desirable Bella. – Detroit News

The first two movies were mediocre, but “Eclipse” represents one of the more astonishing upgrades in movie franchise history. – Richard Roeper

This is definitely the worst installment of the franchise to date.  – Chicago Reader

It appears to have embraced its own sense of camp and is consistently funny in an intentional way. For the first time, I found myself curious to see what comes next.  – TIME
